The Age of Nimrod

D.D. Edwards                                                                        January 11, 2019

We have witnessed the leadership of countries in Europe; France with Macon, Germany with Merkel, the U.K. with May, and Trudeu in Canada, and others, that have the wantonly and blatantly disregarded the wants and needs of their fellow countrymen–their constituents.

Instead they welcome millions of illegal immigrants into their borders with no vetting and no background checks.

Unlike other countries and regimes in the world the United States was not founded as a monarchy, oligarchy, dictatorship, or democracy.

No, the American experiment was and is unique. Unlike all the other forms of polity the United States is a republic.

The Great Seal of the United States was adopted on June 20, 1782 for our newly formed republic. On the back of the Great Seal is the Latin phrase – Novus Ordo SeclorumNew Order of the Ages–and so it was!

The U.S. was and is the only Constitutional Republic; governed not by a single person or committee, but by We the People.

Regardless of what leftists politicians, and history revisionists in and out of academia posit, America is an exceptional nation!

Nimrod’s Empire

In this day and age all nations, including America, are moving into what I identify as the Age of Nimrod.

The name Nimrod means rebellion or rebel and indeed “boastful violence and rebellion certainly constitute the characteristics of his history.”[1]

Nimrod led the people eastward from Canaan to the site located in Shinar. The city of Babel (Babylon) was the first great city built after the great Flood. The name Bab-El, meant the gate of God.

Despite this “deistic” name, the tower of Bab-El was built for man’s glory not God’s.  (Genesis 11:4).

God, however, had a different plan.

The verses in Genesis 11:5-7,9 show how God changed not only the name of the city, but the peoples’ language from one to many; confounding their construction efforts. Thus the name of their city became Babel which means confusion.

In its very construction, its prideful character appears, a character that remains throughout the Bible. It’s a city that shakes its fist at God (emphasis mine) and says, ‘we don’t need you, we don’t want you, and we’re not going to do it the way you want.[2]

Edersheim explains that Assyrian tablets cataloging the royal lineages of Nimrod provide a rationale of his description as a “mighty hunter” “for this is the title given in them to the great conquering warrior-monarchs, as hunting the people.”[3]

Today we see this same arrogant, rebellious defiance in the world today, but nowhere more than from the peoples of the Islamic ruled nations.

Nonetheless Babylon’s antagonistic role on the stage of history and its prophetic destiny is yet to be completed (i.e. Ps. 137:7-9; Rev. 14:8; 16:18-20; 18:1-3, 9-10, 20-22).

As Muslims immigrate into the various parts of the world they are rebellious. They have no intention of assimilating into the various cultures they invade. No they defiantly demand everybody else conform to their lawsharia law–Satanic Law.

“Muhammad said ‘That a person who dies not having waged jihad, or never having wished in his heart to participate in jihad, is like one who died in a state of hypocrisy’”

The myriad leaders I mentioned above not only encourage these infiltrators, but facilitate their lawlessness once these offenders are “in country!”

Europe’s Muslim population is set to double — and possibly triple — between now and 2050, according to new projections by the Pew Research Center.

Nevertheless Gatestone Research’s report on How Many Muslims in Europe (Dec. 14, 2017) states:

The projections, contained in a report, Europe’s Growing Muslim Population, confirm what has long been common knowledge; . . . [but] the demographic calamity facing Europe, however, is even worse than the Pew report lets on.”

A majority of these Muslims are not really looking for careers, better pay, or a better lifestyle, but are “invading” the lands they infiltrate.

To be fair, not all are Muslim infiltrators. No there are also human traffickers, drug runners, gun runners, and MS 13 gang members (who do all of the above).

Unfortunately, that is happening in America as well.

Anarchy in American

Lawlessness is rising rapidly as America slides down the slippery slope to anarchy.

The rise of Hussein Obama to the office of President escalated the lawlessness in the United States.

The Democratic Socialist party is completely out of control. They believe they are above the law. For example Al Sharpton owes $600,000 in back taxes; Claire McCaskill, $287,000; Charlie Rangel, $75,000.

On top of that thirty-six of Obama’s executive office staff owe the country $833,970 in back taxes.

The Antifa movement is nothing more than self-righteous, brainless, brats. They are dangerous and anarchists and spread the lawless cancer.

Leana Wen, the head of the nation’s largest abortion supplier told People magazine in an interview published Tuesday that she viewed abortion as “a basic human right.”[4]

A question comes to mind. How much longer can this continue?

In all seriousness there has never been the worldwide lawlessness and contempt of any and every kind of moral standard like we are seeing in this milieu.

While there are those who believe history is circular, it is not. It is progressive.

Bible prophecy too is progressive, beginning with the protoevangelium, the first Gospel; to the birth of Christ and into the future. History will end one day.

God has a plan. That plan calls for those that reject Jesus Christ, who want to do it their way, to be judged and thrown into the pit (2 Peter 2:4).

God revealed the fate of the Church in the last days as being, in large part, deceived and following the religion of  the world (Rev. 2:19-21).

God declares:

I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

Rev. 2:23
