Only 9 percent of professing born-again believers have a biblical worldview; 47 percent think Jesus is not the only way to heaven. Roughly 75 percent of Christian kids lose their faith in college, and over 50 percent of protestant pastors do not base their views on the Bible. Why is this the case?
Too many pastors don’t even think the Church should be involved in making disciples. Others still, don’t think about discipleship one way or the other, or only pay lip service to it.
The Church, as a whole, is at a crucial juncture in its history, and what is important is what the Bible says about discipleship, not what we think about discipling others. Some that think they are doing a good job at discipling are unable to be objective or are ignoring the standard given in the Bible
This is wake-up call to the Church. Time is shorter than we think.
